Tony Roberts Carpets
Can measure a house quicker than anyone!
Paul Telfer'S skills
From YTS to Director. 1986, not a particularly exciting year. Britain's oldest twins turned 100. The millionth council house was sold. The Euro tunnel Group was formed. The Trustee Savings Bank was floated on the stock exchange. See. Not a very exciting time, with one remarkable exception. 1986 was the year Paul Telfer joined Tony Roberts Carpets. It was the 8th September 1986, just 2 weeks off his 18th birthday, that he did his first day's work on the Youth Training Scheme (YTS). Now, 30 years later, Paul is a Director of the family company famed for its quality of service and personal touch - aspects of the business that Paul has very much had a hand in creating and sustaining. In his early days Paul worked in the business's King Street shop. He quickly developed into a superb measurer and estimator. His focus, as a master planner, always minimising the cost to the customer. Tony himself (with no less than 62 years in the carpet business) says, I have never known anyone to be able to measure, estimate and plan so brilliantly and consistently. On top of this, customers have always commented on and praised Paul's helpful and personable approach. So, 30 years on, with a dedication, focus and absolute loyalty to the business that is second to none, Tony Roberts Carpets celebrates Paul's 30 years From YTS to Director with a massive well done and thank you. Here's to the next 30!
